Dal 18 ottobre al 5 dicembre 2025 gli spazi principali della Galleria ospitano le nuove opere di Cristian Avram (1994, Alba-Iulia).


La nuova mostra The journey’s end di Cristian Avram nasce da un viaggio in treno, compiuto dall’artista lo scorso maggio. Le lunghe ore trascorse in viaggio hanno offerto ad Avram uno spazio sospeso, dedicato alla contemplazione, ai ricordi e alle visioni.

“Dal finestrino del treno era come guardare un film, un continuo saltare avanti e indietro nel tempo, interrotto di tanto in tanto da un improvviso cambiamento del paesaggio che mi riportava al presente. Quel finestrino assomigliava molto a una tela; le mie visioni somigliavano alle macchie di colore che cerco con tanta attenzione di disporre in perfetto ordine sul quadro. Guardando il futuro e il paesaggio in movimento, vedevo dipinti: alcuni che stavano per nascere, altri già esistenti, che ora cominciavo a collocare in un contesto nuovo e inatteso.” Con queste parole, Cristian Avram racconta la genesi della mostra, che si pone come un viaggio intimo tra memoria, immaginazione e pittura.

From October 18 to December 5, 2025), the main exhibition spaces of the Gallery host the new works of Cristian Avram (Alba-Iulia RO, 1994).


The new exhibition of Cristian Avram, The journey’s end, originates from a train journey undertaken by the artist in May 2025. The long hours of travel offered Avram a suspended space dedicated to contemplation, memories, and visions.

“Looking out from the train window was like watching a film, a continuous leap back and forth i time, occasionally interrupted by sudden shifts in the landscape that brought me back to the present. That window resembled a canvas; my visions resembled the patches of color I so carefully strive to arrange in perfect order on the painting. Looking toward the future and the moving landscape, I saw paintings: some about to be born, others already existing, which I was now beginning to place within a new and unexpected context.”
With these words, Cristian Avram recounts the genesis of the exhibition, conceived as an intimate journey through memory, imagination, and painting.
