La mostra è il risultato del lavoro svolto da quattro giovani artisti durante un periodo di residenza di un anno presso gli spazi della Moonens Foundation. I quattro vincitori del premio Laurent Moonens 2019, Daniele Coppola (IT 1990), Veronica de Giovanelli (IT 1989), Elfie Poiré (FR 1995), Renaud Suanez (FR 1995) hanno investito gli spazi della Fondazione realizzando una mostra corale scegliendo come titolo un verso di Le plat pays di Jacques Brel, canzone che descrive il paesaggio belga in maniera poetica e un po’ malinconica.
The exhibition is the result of the work carried out by four young artists during a one-year residency at the spaces of the Moonens Foundation. The four winners of the Laurent Moonens 2019 prize, Daniele Coppola (IT 1990), Veronica de Giovanelli (IT 1989), Elfie Poiré (FR 1995), Renaud Suanez (FR 1995) invested the spaces of the Foundation by creating a choral exhibition, choosing as title a verse from Le plat pays by Jacques Brel, a song that describes the Belgian landscape in a poetic and somewhat melancholy way.
