Nel 2015 ottiene il Diploma di Secondo Livello all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. Lo stesso anno vince il Celeste Prize a Milano nella sezione pittura. Nel 2013 vince il prestigioso premio annuale della Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa a Venezia. Nel 2014 frequenta il MA Fine Arts Research and Development alla Middlesex University di Londra. Nel 2019 conclude un Master in pittura alla ENSAV La Cambre, a Bruxelles, dopo aver esposto al Kanal-Centre Pompidou. Fa parte del collettivo Fondazione Malutta con il quale espone al Padiglione Albania della 15 Biennale di Architettura di Venezia (2016). Nel 2018 partecipa alla mostra Vicino. Non qui, MART Museo d’arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, presso la Galleria Civica, e alla collettiva Grenzländer - Terre di confine da Boccanera Gallery Trento. Nel 2019 e 2020 svolge la residenza alla Moonens Foundation a Bruxelles.
Veronica de Giovanelli was born in Trento in 1989 and lives and works between Trento and Brussels.
In 2015 she obtained her Second Level Diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. The same year she won the Celeste Prize in Milan in the painting section. In 2013 she won the prestigious annual prize of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. In 2014 she attended the MA Fine Arts Research and Development at Middlesex University in London. In 2019 she completed an MA in painting at ENSAV La Cambre, Brussels, after exhibiting at Kanal-Centre Pompidou. She is part of the collective Fondazione Malutta with which she exhibited at the Albania Pavilion of the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale (2016). In 2018 she participated in the exhibition Vicino. Non qui, MART Museo d'arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, at the Galleria Civica, and in the group exhibition Grenzländer - Terre di confine at Boccanera Gallery Trento. In 2019 and 2020 she did a residency at the Moonens Foundation in Brussels.
In October and November 2021 she participated at the exhibition Ex Post 2 Museo MART at the Galleria Civica where the ADAC (Archivio degli Artisti Contemporanei Trentini) notebook, a monographic book by Veronica de Giovanelli, is presented.She has currently been selected to participate in a prestigious European travel project of the works of 50 emerging artists from the Venetian area Venice Time Case curated by Luca Massimo Barbero and which will culminate in their acquisition by a contemporary art museum. The exhibition Andvake is her first solo show at Boccanera Gallery Trento.
