Cristian Avram nasce ad Alba-Iulia (RO) nel 1994. Vive e lavora a Cluj-Napoca.
Cristian Avram was born in Alba-Iulia (RO) in 1994, he lives and works in Cluj-Napoca.
Cristian Avram’s works are closely related to the classical approach of painting. He selects his subjects from the world around him, and he employs the representation of reality as a tool to investigate the possibilities offered by color in the creation of his imaginary. With a keen sense of drawing and painting, the artist’s work recalls the history of art, working as a reminder of the prestige and, at the same time, the complexity of this medium.
Cristian Avram was part of the group exhibition Talking about my generation at the Plan B gallery in Cluj-Napoca (RO). He was selected by José Esparza Chong Cuy, curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA), to present his solo show at ZONAMACO 2020 in the New Proposals section.
