Artissima Unpluggled

For the 2020 edition, in response to the Italian and European health emergency, Artissima changes shape and proposes a new model divided into two main moments: Artissima Unplugged – Online Catalogue and Artissima Unplugged – Stasi frenetica, three exhibition projects in the museums of the Turin Foundation Museums, curated by Ilaria Bonacossa.

On the occasion of Artissima Unplugged, from November 5 to December 9, 2020, Boccanera Gallery brings together in the Online Catalogue – Main Section, the works of the artists Cristian Avram, Linda Carrara, Nebojša Despotović, Dido Fontana, Andrea Fontanari, Veronica de Giovanelli, Gabriele Grones, Debora Hirsch, Richard Loskot and Federico Seppi to reflect on the concept of time.

Boccanera Gallery is pleased to announce that Ilaria Bonacossa has selected for the exhibition Artissima Unplugged – Stasi frenetica, from November 7, 2020 to January 9, 2021, at the GAM – Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Turin, the work of Andrea Fontanari entitled Un applauso, 2020.
For Andrea Fontanari, painting comes from memory. Large brushstrokes break up reality by showing us daily life in fragments. His shots and colors create a new vision but, at the same time, eliminate unnecessary complexity.
